2016 to present

  • Completing medical degree at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, after crediting relevant subjects from Bachelor of Science. His doctoral research thesis is at the German Cancer Research Center (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum; DKFZ) in Heidelberg, looking at brain tumors in children.

2015

  • Australian-German Association (AGA) Fellowship at the Institute of Neuropathology, Freiburg, Germany as a visiting scientist (10 weeks) to research how bacteria in the gut affect brain development

2013

  • Internship (5 months) at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany, researching neural circuits of the ear to combat deafness

2012

  • 2-month language course with the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in Kassel, Germany

2011

  • Global Languages Scholarship to study on exchange for one semester at the University of Freiburg, Germany, as part of Bachelor of Science

2010-2014

  • Chose to study German as a Diploma of Languages alongside Bachelor of Science (Honours) at University of Melbourne
