German Minister for Education and Research Bettina Stark-Watzinger and Australian Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen announced funding for four new joint projects under the German–Australian Hydrogen Innovation and Technology Incubator (HyGATE) initiative in Berlin in January 2023
The agreement brings together Australian and German industry and research partners to deliver new projects, primarily based in Australia.
